Annual Charity Golf Day held at Chevin GC, Duffield Auction hosted by Charles Hanson - Friday Sept 3 2021

The annual golf day was held at Chevin GC, Duffield on a cloudy but mainly dry day. We had 48 teams playing which was our largest golf entry to date.

The course was presented in excellent condition and well supported by both the Pro’s Shop and Angelo’s at Chevin (bar and catering).

My thanks go to all of the management and staff at Chevin GC for their continued and valued support for the charity. A wonderful venue that we enjoy, year after year.

On the day we raised the magnificent sum of £10,250 from the various activities both on the course and in the clubhouse. Of note was the Auction held in the evening after the dinner. Charles Hanson was our host and auctioneer, and after sharing stories of his life as an Auctioneer, his efforts raised over £2000.
